Reese Cain is a Level 3 certified personal trainer in Liverpool, specialising in boxing, strength and conditioning, and body fat reduction. Based at PureGym Liverpool Aintree, he helps clients across Liverpool, Bootle, Walton and Fazakerley transform their fitness with programmes built around real experience β€” not textbook theory.

Before qualifying as a PT, Reese competed in boxing for over a decade β€” 21 fights, Merseyside & Cheshire Champion at 71kg in 2023, plus years of competitive football. That experience is the foundation of how he trains you now.

Getting ripped for weigh-ins. Managing a weight cut without losing strength. Building stamina that lasts 12 rounds. Dialling in nutrition so you recover and still perform. These aren't things he read in a manual β€” they're things he's lived through, refined, and can now teach you.

Where is Reese based?
Reese trains clients at PureGym Liverpool Aintree on Grand National Avenue, L9 5BD. He works with clients from across Liverpool including Bootle, Walton, Fazakerley and the surrounding areas. If you can get to Aintree, you can train with Reese.
Do I need boxing experience?
No, you do not need any boxing or gym experience. Most of Reese's clients start as complete beginners. He builds your technique, confidence and fitness from the ground up at a pace that works for you. The only thing you need to bring is the willingness to show up.
Is Reese a qualified PT?
Yes. Reese is a Level 3 Certified Personal Trainer and Level 2 Fitness Instructor, currently working towards his Level 4 Strength & Conditioning qualification and Level 1 Boxing Coach certification. Full insurance is on file and all qualifications are verified and current.
What if my goal isn't boxing?
Absolutely fine. Reese specialises in boxing, but he trains clients for fat loss, muscle building, strength, sport-specific performance and general fitness. Boxing methods give him a wider toolkit β€” but every programme is built around your goal, not his background.
How does the free consultation work?
You message Reese via WhatsApp or the contact form. He will reply within 24 hours to arrange a short, no-pressure chat β€” either in person at PureGym Aintree or over the phone. You talk through your goals, your schedule and any concerns. There's no cost, no commitment, and no hard sell. If it's the right fit, great. If not, no worries.
Can Reese help with nutrition?
Yes. Nutrition guidance is built into every programme. Reese has managed weight cuts down to 71kg for boxing competitions while maintaining strength and performance β€” so he understands how to eat for your goal without the restrictive diets that collapse after two weeks. Honest, practical, sustainable.
How quickly will I see results?
You'll feel stronger and fitter within 2-3 weeks of consistent training. Visible changes β€” fat loss, muscle tone, improved conditioning β€” typically show at around 6-8 weeks with 2-3 sessions per week plus consistent nutrition. Reese tracks everything from session one so you can see your progress in numbers, not just in the mirror.
